Thanks! Everyone hates Chameleon, but I like it - sure, it's not nearly as hard as Helloween's 80s stuff, but it's a solid rock album. . if you listen to it without expecting to hear power metal, it's really not bad. Kiske has an amazing voice regardless of what kind of music it is!
You're right, I probably was dissapointed by their changing direction..nothing to say about Kiske's vocal ability of course; gonna try to listen to this album again...I will tell ya.
Yeah man! Give it another shot. Chameleon & Pink Bubbles are both strong rock albums. . . just don't expect hardcore metal. Let me know what you think!!
Hell, I can't express how much I envy you for all these awesome Helloween and Gamma Ray shirts! And this one absolutely kills!
And finally someone who likes the Chameleon album as well!
Hey guys! Thanks so much!! Well, I'm glad you live in Germany. . .now I don't have to buy those guard dogs for my t-shirt room. ;-)
Also, you, sir, are the first person I've ever met who likes Chameleon! I think it's a great record. . .sure, it's not power metal, but it's a fantastic rock album. I remember the drummer at the time referring to "Windmill" as "Shitmill." Ack!!
I love this shirt so much. Chameleon is a brilliant album. Some of Helloween's greatest songs are on there easily, such as Giants and First Time. Granted, there is not a single Helloween album I dislike but it's still a solid album nonetheless. Great shirt, man! You've dropped me to second place in Helloween entries, haha. I'll have to up my game. :D
Wow, this is vintage AF..and super cool, regardless if you like Chameleon or not (it represents a low point in their era and I imagine merch from this era is rare)
