Not a very well known band but their 1985 EP does have a rather cult following I guess. This is a vintage shirt that got released together witth the EP, Sex and destruction was the opening track.
I was told this particular shirt was once owned by Nastie Ronnie but not sure if it's true. Size is really tiny and Nastie Ronnie...wasn't.
Edit: updated information: not an official shirt from the band - old bootleg. Year most likely wrong.
I went to high school with Jim & Steve from Black Task, graduated with Jim in '86, had a few classes together and saw a bunch of their shows at The Empire and elsewhere. Their sound was way ahead if their time and the Philly saying goes "they were a punk band and didn't know it."
The only t-shirt of theirs that I ever saw, and had, was just the logo. It was on a thin Screen Stars black tee. I doubt this shirt is authentic vintage from the 80's.
Their pins & stickers were just the logo as well.
Can’t guarantee that it’s official however it’s definitely vintage. I got this for a normal price years ago with some other 80’s shirts. If you click on my profile you’ll see that I’m not exactly a new kid on the block, I can tell the difference between an old shirt and a reproduction when I have it in my hands.
This shirt is tiny though. It’d burst open if I’d try to wear it, and I’m not exactly a bodybuilder.
Maybe Warren the singer did the shirt some years after they split up but trust me on this, I had everything that they put out legitimately when they were together back then and this shirt wasn't from then. I'm still friends with Jim the drummer and can ask him but already know the answer.
They were high school and college kids with no money which is why all their merch was just the logo.
Thanks for the information. Doesn’t matter too much because the shirt was and is not for sale or trade.
It’s still an old shirt though, probably they never knew they got bootlegged so early on. I haven’t even seen recent bootlegs of this band (although they surely must exist since everything is being bootlegged these days).

Damn, the '85 EP & demo are some of my all time favorites. Would love to own that shirt (in a wearable size, ha...)
