For whatever reason, this and Permanent Waves are about the only 2 Rush records I don't have on vinyl.

well, it's not that hard to find... so sooner or later you will get one i guess..

joecubbie's picture

Yeah I'll be holding on to them at the record store and then something else will catch my eye lol

That's why it took me forever to get Van Halen II and complete my Diamond Dave era collection lol

haha.. i know that feeling... there's always some exotique, rare collectable around.... in the end you have all the rare stuff.. but don't have the most regular and common albums haha

dubtribe's picture

Oh I like it a lot :)
I'm just beginning to liten to that 70s stuff. Know that common sstuff ( Sabbath, Rainbow, Rush, ... ), but because of you I find almost every day something new :)

great to hear... there's been released so many amazing albums by killer bands in the 70's almost nobody remember any more.... Bulbous Creation, Truth and Janey, Birth Control, Sir Lord Baltimore, Bang, Dust, Janus, Head Machine, Orang Utan..... man, the list can go on and on......

dubtribe's picture

I know Birth Control ... but the rest is totally unknown for me ... and again stuff to check out haha

gloriousdeath's picture

you got a whole world before you to discover... man, there was some wonderful stuff around in the past....

joecubbie's picture

Uriah Heep, Budgie, Buffalo, Granicus, Atomic Rooster...yeah it goes on

5
gloriousdeath's picture

Good one: Granicus... must have that one somewhere too... obvious Zep influence, but a very nice band !!!

joecubbie's picture

Yeah they actually reunited a few years back and did a new record

5
gloriousdeath's picture

they did ?? i didn't knew that... have to check that... thanx for the info !!!!

joecubbie's picture

Yeah and speaking of hard rock bands from Ohio reuniting, so did Brownsville Station haha. They made a new record too.

5
gloriousdeath's picture

ah, Smokin in the boys room !!!!....

joecubbie's picture

Yeah I was watching videos of them at the Ohio State Fair which they headlined a couple years back for their first reunion show and they sounded awful but that's because their main guy passed away and this was a replacement

5
gloriousdeath's picture

sometimes it's better to let it rest and don't ruin the legacy/ memories etc

joecubbie's picture

Couldn't agree more
