Long time metal fan, love the site so I thought I'd share some of my metal collectables & original vinyl. The Slayer piece was painted by a friend of mine way back in the 80's - he was the guy you went to when you wanted your denim jacket painted with band logos (unfortunately mine are long gone ...)
Cheers - I was 17 in 1986, and I remember every Friday afternoon around 5.00 myself a few buddies met in the local record store (Sound Cellar in Dublin) to buy the latest releases before hitting the pub. Still have a hefty vinyl collection, but I sold a glut load in the mid-90's (two Exumer albums, Violent Force, Agony, Flotsam & Jetsam, bunch of Exodus albums - *not* Bonded by Blood!) that I wish I held on to.
