I had the case numerous times, that I wanted to send a user an image, maybe of a package ready to send, of a clothing brand tag, of a shirt in general or simply just for shit chatting.
Can this be done relatively easy or is it much of a hassle?

I'm personally against this tbh. Tss already lets everyone, not just one person who asks, see shirt tags/fine details/stamps/defects/ect in the entry. I found this helpful years before I had an account here, and there are folks who don't have accounts that can still check things like that if needed. Folks should have photos of stuff like that ready to go when they make an entry, it shouldn't be an afterthought imo
My friends on other apps send gifs/reaction images/stickers ect all the time when shooting the shit, and that's cool ofc, but the folks I only know through tss are expected to write and talk just with text. I find it to be a nice break from other sites honestly, gives tss its own mood compared to everything else
I do not exactly see how this takes anything away from the initial intention of the site, and I especially do not see how a feature can force you to use it. If you do not want to use it in your messages: Don't.

The problem is you all forget that TSS is not a trading platform primarily.
It is a platform for recording photos of t-shirt artwork for future generations.
You should be adding those photos to the post of the t-shirt
Additionally, this would result in people just sending photos of tshirts in private messages and never adding them to the public gallery

I have seen one workaround for this, is that images in private messages are always extremely low quality/small
