Gorgoroth - Under the Sign of Hell (first press) vinyl LP.

*Because of the fact that I have sold most of my very sought-after first press records, I've decided to re-upload some of my favorites (or at least more notable) albums that I still have from when I first started uploading vinyl to this site. I decided to leave the original uploads as they are, for memories. These are some of the records that I still have, but uploaded album by album, for more intricate and detailed shots.*

I've been itching to get to this one! Haha. This is with a doubt my favorite album, EVER!

Standing as a pillar to all that is dedicated to darkness, evil, and death... this holds that glorious title (of my fave album, that is) thanks to it's primitive raw sound, coupled with incredible song-witting and performance.

The album feels more like an in-studio jam session and less like a real professional and clean sounding full-length. It is a literally just full-speed ahead, no non-sense or bullshit kind of album. It features the thick sounding (yet melodic) guitar riffs of Infernus, the INHUMAN vocals of Pest in his prime (a.k.a. 1997), and the battering and pounding drums of the late Grim.

If I HAD to choose a stand-out track to die to, it would probably be "Profetens Åpenbaring", perfect from beginning to end (but then again so is the rest of the album).

In conclusion, no words will ever be good enough to describe how I feel about this album. It sends chills down my spine every time I listen to this, and never gets old. It boils my BLOOD!
