This album, what a work of art. The way it can go from grinding and dismal to furious and pounding and still feel coherent is nothing short of remarkable. The slow parts and the fast parts never fell like they are getting in thew way of each other, rather they complete each other to form a gargantuan unity, one of my favorite American black metal albums, and a criminally underappreciated band.
This edition is pretty cool, with the poster and red vinyl. The red finish on the cover looks more subtle, and not as prominent as the second picture shows. I don't know why they choose to make away with the coloring and leave the coverart in monochrome. It makes it look rather flat and cluttered. Not bad mind you, but it feels like the lesser version of the two.
Overall a great edition.

Timeless masterpiece, and on my top 10 for sure. Don't know why they omitted "Voodoo Mass" on this one though...

Yeah, now that you say it. That one is missing, isn't it. I'm so used to this version of the album that I didn't really think about it.
But it always sucks when tracks are left out. Like when Relapse omitted the two best tracks from the vinyl release of Tau Cross' debut.
