I wish I could've seen Dave in his prime. Now he's just old and boring. Sure he was never a great singer, but at least he was Diamond Dave. I'm saying this based off of when I saw Van Halen a few years ago. It's a good thing my dad and I got tix cheap the night before or we would've felt ripped off.

Agree with ya, Joe. DLR was and, actually, is an entertainer before beeing a singer; in my opinion his ability was to handle a bunch of amazing player when he starded his solo carrer......

Absolutely. Meanwhile, people can say what they will about Sammy, but not only can he put on a great show, he sounds absolutely amazing.
