Whitesnake - Bursting the Shell / Monsters of Rock Donington 1981 [Mint]

1981 Whitesnake oversized patch in perfect condition.

This piece is official merchandise & was released to accompany the 1981 Monsters of Rock event. While it features no copyright, its origin can be confirmed, as it is pictured in the official MOR programme.

The sheer size (~16.7 x 16.7 cm) sets it apart from many vintage peers and modern ones too.
In my opinion, this is one of the - if not the - best Whitesnake patch.

I didn't know this was for the 1981 (presumably) Monsters of Rock, that's cool to hear! Arguably a top 5 Whitesnake patch if we're excluding back patches haha.

Holy hell I massively malfunctioned while uploading this. Yes, 1981 indeed hahaha! I just fixed the listing.

Sadly I don't own the tour programme, but I was able to secure some pics of the pages for my archive.

When it comes to Whitesnake backpatches, you actually own the one I consider the absolute best: The Lovehunter backpatch.
Just love that piece!

Only one year out isn't too bad to be fair haha. That's cool though, it's great to know that it was official and thank you for sharing those pictures! Yeah you can't beat the Lovehunter back patch that's for sure!
