I see what you mean, given its the same artist. But personally I love the design. Reminds me of the riddickart version of the show no mercy art, in that it's a pretty traditional Slayer concept, but done in an established artist's style instead of the artist trying to cater to the typical Slayer art look. And since I love Chris Moyen's art and Slayer, I dig it.

I also love that despite it never getting the final approval and eventually getting sold to Hellfest instead. That it still made it's way to various bootlegs. Which makes me curious what the fine print says.

Well said mate, I love the design to, I'd have it just to hang on the wall.

Chris is a very talented artist anything he does is simply amazing.

Looked up the riddick art version, Looks pretty epic also!

I've seen this version and a small version and are official from memory.

Nah Chris Moyen confirmed a while back on the nwn forum that any Slayer versions of this design are bootlegs made without approval from him or the band

I don't know, as an artist I'd be disappointed to not be getting a cut of the profits. But flattered that they deemed the art worthy of bootlegging.

I bought it like 6 years ago, don't remember where from. Never ended up putting it on a jacket, i think i got a helloween bootleg backpatch from the same place. I havnt got either with me atm so cant tell you what the fine print says.
