As far as I know, Skyclad's still a reasonably affordable vintage patch. I'm only actually accustomed to their debut, was that also the one that got you hooked on the band? Cheers!
Nah not really actually. Although a big Sabbat fanboy, that wasn't what I really was searching for in this band. But needed more Walkyier. Prince of the Poverty Line was the record where everything felt on the right place! The Silent Whales of Lunar Sea, and Oui Avant-garde á Chance are also really great!
Being a Walkyer fan myself I may recommend their first album. Imho nothing beats "The Wayward Sons of Mother Earth". And their cover version of Thin Lizzy's "Emerald" from their EP "Tracks from the Wilderness". Magnificient!
Yeah, that's where I was at as well up until this point. I may have to dive in deeper later on, but they cater to such a specific "mood" to me that I need to actively chase it to fully enjoy them. Either way, Prince of the Poverty Line is already up on my playlist, hope it gets the well deserved spin!

I’ve always loved this design, captures the essence of the artwork perfectly. And its a killer band, of course :)

Yeah it's awesome. Simple, direct, but also a kind of dreamy.
