I first saw this in Metal Head store in Camden in probably 1994, possibly 1995. I remember I'd just got 'Divine Intervention' and I saw this jacket on the rail in the store and was instantly besotted with it. Way out of my teenage price range (I think it was about £275/£280), I bought a plain leather jacket from one of the other stores further down the road for about a quarter of the price.
Roll forward 23 or 24 years, I stumbled upon it on eBay; well worn, slightly worse for wear (a little stitching required) but the exact same jacket I remembered from all those years ago. Bought it for a much better price this time, it's *almost* too small for me, but I don't give a shit - it's finally mine!

Unholy Christ, man... that back Divine Intervention paint job is stunning. I love the way it just kind of appears out the black leather, like an image coming to surface under clear water. Was that painted by your own hands?

Just read the description now... after posting my comment lmao
Very nice pick up

Dude, that is awesome. I like the subtleness of the application. Side note: might want to re-classify this entry as battle jacket.

I didn’t classify it as a battle jacket because it’s not a battle jacket (which, unless I’m mistaken, is the name given to sleeveless denim jackets covered in patches and badges). But it is awesome. I just wish I’d got it when it was new cos I’d have kept it in better condition.

Cool. I'm not exactly sure on the classification parameters. I've seen plain leather jackets categorized that way. /shrug Sweet acquisition either way.

Dude. One of the finest paintings that I've seen on here. Wonder who's the talented chap who did the artwork!

That’s an incredible paint job! The artist surely had a great eye for detail. I’d love to own one of these one day! Nice find! Full flames for this one!

WOW!!! I can see why you were drawn to it. DI is my favourite slayer album so I'm pretty impressed right now \m/
