I have this exact same shirt. The only difference is on the back it says Darkest Day Australia 2009, I saw them in Adelaide in November and they Kicked Ass, A Fucking Awesome gig, one of the best i've ever been to.

DO you seriously rate the Obies live these days? Last time I saw them at Wacken, they were seriously bereft of any real stage presence or magic.. I saw them in 90 on the Cause Of Death tour with James Murphy and they were young, hungry and fucking unbelievably heavy. It was one of the best gigs I ever saw to this day.

Everytime I've seen them they were great. I've only seen them in small venues though. Giant outdoor festivals to me really leave alot to be desired. There are always so many bands on the bill, that bands are really really crunched for time to setup/takedown. Playing outside it's always harder to hear yourself, esp if you didn't get a good soundcheck.
