I agree. I somehow never liked their Black Metal days...Nothing wrong with it...they did it properly. Just never caught my attention....Pandemonic did catch my attention but Satanica just one of all time favs...I did give up on them until The Satanist though.
I will admit I am not too much into Pagan or Folk stuff. I just don't feel that. Only some Enslaved & Bathory.
Their live show somehow dissapointed me. They didn't play any of the songs from Pandemonic or Satanica. It was mostly Thelema and Zos albums. But the drive was there. Will go to see them next though. I am pretty sure "The Satanist" will make up most of the playlist.
