Thank you for the good words - that blade on the side is actually a frontier-style knife forged for me by an old Appalachian who is half-indian and who calls himself White Wolf. It´s indeed quite sax-like (though with a basic belt-tuck sheath instead of looped one), and though it totally goes against the grain of historical accuracy, for now at least it kinda does occupy the place of a sax in my kit. Primitive, field-tough, what's more to expect from a working knife.. When I get good enough at metalwork to turn out serviceable blades, I may just make me a "tr00 v1king" sax.
