Remember the good ol´days? When you could easily find some cool looking Hi-Tops (Nike, Reebok, Converse, Adidas,...) in every sports-store? Some classics are hard to find, fucked-up, expensive,... nowadays.
I´m not really a collector or even a shoe-fanatic, but I buy those kind of shoes, if I find a fitting pair. I really like the classic look with tight jeans, battle vest AND Hi-tops.
What is your opinion?
Did you/do you like wearing those?
Do you look/search for them on the web or elsewhere?
I absolutely love my pair of "Nuclear Assault" white and dirt colored high tops! But I live near Orlando, FL so there are a ton of shops for tourists and a lot of them have liquidation sales all the time so everything is cheap. I may need a new pair though soon sadly.
there is a wide choice of hi tops where i live,it is some kind of trend right now and because of that i dont wear them often.i do have one nike pair (i bought them JUST for thrash fest haha) but i dont even like them,i prefer biker or military boots!
Same here, hi tops are the most comfortable pair of shoes i've ever worn. It's more secure so it doesn't fall off like low tops especially at a show and doesn't hurt your feet when going on a long walk or hike. I got mine dirty from going on a very muddy hike up a mountain. If i'm lazy ill just slip on low top skater shoes but i much prefer hi tops.
I love my terminators. They're fucking hard to find my size (Since my feet are so fecking big D:) So I ended up paying through the nose for them. I think they may be frashed though now >:(
I have white hi tops that i wore every single day in highschool and a lot during freshman in college. now that i'm a sophomore i barely ever wear them at all! What I need is some new ones. Like white and red.
