make a small cut and carefully hand rip it across the outside seam of the sleeve for a nice raw edge

Throw them in the laundry after cutting the sleeves, the denim will start to fray in the wash

Yep..this works well.

Doing this on one of my next denims, thanks dude! Appreciate the comment
I fray it with a knife after cutting. You'll need to leave more material for more fraying.

Yep.. After just one wash, the ends are already going to look kind of bushy, you can help it along from there.

Leave about a half inch from the edge seam then wash it.
The left over fabric will fray. If it requires more distressing, scrape a razor on the edges.
Chemical Burn on
Wear the fecking thing.

cut the sleeves of a long sleeve jacket and i cut off every point on the inside of the seams. Kinda worked out itself over the years.

Hey, ANGELRIPPER!!! I would cut a little bit and rip the sleeve portion off and tear at the strands a little bit so they kinda stick out a bit. Look at my vest and youll see what i mean.
Cheers!
