How to remove buttons on jacket

For the kutte I’m making there are lots of buttons that prevent patches from being there, I’m not sure if your just simply meant to cut them out or if there’s a cleaner way that won’t damage much of the jacket.

If anyone knows how to remove them please let me know, comments are much appreciated :)

I personally used a pair of pliers and squeezed the back part of the rivet on the button, which ended up popping the rest of the rivet off, so the hole wasn't super large and noticeable.

Yep that's the way to do it. Pliers or channel locks whatever you got lying around haha
