Yes, that's chainmail indeed. Tried making chainmail once and didn't knew what to do with it, so I nailed it to the jacket. Thanx for the compliment.

Great! Except that I hadn't put on chainmail and these metal things on the front in the middle... But who care's what I had or hadn't done? ;) 6 flames anyway!
But the pyramid studs on the bottom kick ass! I also thought of something like this, one day I will probably put one row of the small round studs on the bottom of my kutte.

What are the 6 things you used to close the front? Did you remove the buttons and replace these things in the holes that were left? Thanks. I'm thinking about using your closure for my 2nd kutte.

Sorry for the late reply. I indeed took the buttons off and replaced them by keyrings with some sort of quick connectors in between.
