A vegetable-tanned, lambskin, handmade jacket bought on Ebay, based on the cuts of the old big name manufacturers. Brand new. I highly recommend it, the maker/inventor and seller are kind and helpful, and the jacket is of extremely high quality. Why buy a jacket made in the '70s when you can buy the exact same in BRAND NEW!
Definitely worth to take a look and looks pretty decent. But you can buy that olde Jofama for 50 buck not 300 aud just like I did :D and new always lacks a character, no matter how decent its made and how much feeling manufacturer puts into his craftsmanship. You have to write a new history on it while wearing it and that's just doesn't happen overnight
So you were lucky to be able to buy such an old jacket for that much money, which is always overpriced and sold on certain online platforms, while who knows how old it is. Also, I don't know what kind of history writing you're talking about (maybe pouring yourself beer over it at a party?), but I think it's disrespectful to tell a person's work that no matter how much feeling and integrity he put into his work, it won't be worth as much as the old, worn-out ones. .. just because it's "not a big name", in my opinion.
