Battle jacket Anno 1987, that explains all the Metallica patches.
This jacket have seen a lot of battles, for example: Nihilist, Morbid, death, Sepultura supporting Sodom!
Sacred Reich, Holy Moses, Candlemass, Metallica, Kreator, Saxon, Iron maiden, Pestilence, Morbid Angel, Vader, Slayer, Forbidden. And so on....

To bad, i saw them live in Sweden 1991 with disharmonic orchestra and Entombed, great gig!
Me and a friend was in Nürnberg 1987, back then they had a great thrash scen. We thrashed at the quattro set 9 days in a row!

Nowadays there ain't very much of a scene in Nürnberg. Not a single club. Only the Rockfabrik, where, when headbanger's ball is, only core-shit and black-melodic-folk-pagan waste is played.

I recently found out, that the father of a friend of mine was one of the owners of "Groovy". Did you knew it?

Edit: Just found out, how many metal clubs have been in Nürnberg. Makes me sad, nothing's left to today.

The scene in Stockholm is geting better and better,
The last month alone we had bands playing like: Entombed/The haunted, Vatain, Machine head & CO. Clutch, and loads of other small bands. There is like 5 metal/rock pubs, some good, some ok!

It depends on the mood :)
ROQ is a cool place with a lot of pool tables, mainstream-metal,
pinballs and live gigs.
Rocks has more aggressive better metal, and a mix of old/new metalheads and some posers, its good.
Pub Anchor is the place to get wasted (oh wait, they all are)
with a younger auddience, really loud metal, gigs and metal-karaoke!
