Devin Townsend Strapping Young Lad - 1997 - City

This Strapping Young Lad tshirt was issued in 1997 along with the band's second CD, "City." This shirt was sent to me by Century Media as a "thank you" gift. The record label reps knew I was going to the show when Strapping Young Lad played Nashville, Tennessee in August, 1997, and the band had run out of merchandise to sell (which was how they were making money at the time). Century Media called and asked if I would take a box of merch to Gene Hoglan. I agreed, of course, so they mailed a box to my record store and I happily hand carried it to Gene! I received the shirt as "payment" for my toils! LOL!
