I've actually met people who listen to metal who don't listen at all to slayer, judas priest or iron maiden.

I was not talking about listening to Slayer or even like them.As a collector,you can own pieces of history from bands that counts in Metal,even if they're not your favorites.
Yeah I guess what i meant was that there aren't any "sacred cows". Plenty of people listen to metal bands but dont identify as a metalhead, for one.

"Sacred cows" certainly not but cult bands absolutely.Depends on how much music is important for you or what space it takes in your life.I say it again,Slayer is not my favorite band but collecting shirts is all about passion.
