What do you mean by the logo ? The image shown is actually in the cd liner. Just not on the cover. Speaking of which. Does anyone know what the album cover of the shadowthrone actually is? Its hard to describe.

The logo is the way band writes their name.
Satyricon wrote their name different at the time of the release of 'The Shadowthrone'. Look closely, it's obvious.
The cover artwork is done by Tania Stene. It's titled 'King of the Shadowthrone'.
She also did the 'Taakeferd' and 'Ferdasyn' art for Darkthrone (she's the ex-wife of Fenriz), Ulver 'Bergtatt' and 'Nattens Madrigal', and Burzum 'Dauði Baldrs' and 'Hliðskjálf' for a few examples... You can use Google to find out more.

Got it thanks for the excellent explanation. Especially about the art work. I will look into this more. After i wrote the logo comment i figured out what was meant by the old logo. I agree it is better with the old logo.
