Riot was scheduled to play at Jaxx in Springfield, VA last night. But the venue had not finished their rennovations and had gotten their permits. SO the show got cancelled. The band was cool enough to hang out and do a meet/greet and sign stuff and they pulled out their merch for those who wanted to buy something. I bought this.

Nice! Sucks about the show, but it's cool that the band stuck around and greeted fans.

Obviously the band was a little pissed, but they did not show it to the fans. Great guys. I saw them in 81 and 82 and was really stoked to see them again. Oh well - hopefully they will find a way to come back to the area later in the run.
