Honestly not sure why it says that. This shirt is 100% confirmed from the 90's at least, though print says '85. A lot of shirts on my page are from my dad when he was a kid so i know for sure this isnt a 'newer' bootleg. if it even is a bootleg anyway!

Let me try to clear up the confusion for you.
The copyright "1985 University of Nebraska Press" obviously does not refer to the shirt or anything related to RATM. It refers to the image of Che Guevara taken for the front print of the shirt. On the cover of the first edition of Che's book "Guerrilla Warfare" you can find exactly this image that is also used for this shirt.

Got to be a bootleg, the text makes no sense whatsoever. It's also not Screenprinting so that supports the bootleg theory.
I've seen sweaters from this on Polish websites not old, new and for sale but they could be copies.
I would not pay more for this shirt then 50 bucks but it is cool to own!
