From the Dortmund Deathfest 2025 haul.
Whoa, what the hell? This is my discovery of the year I think. Overwhelmingly amazing brutal death/deathgrind which is absolutely rich in variety played by highly skilled musicians. Some extremely fast parts, but everything is played precisely. While they are technical, they don't use their technicality just to impress, but to actually entertain the listener. The performance was massive, very thick and captivating sound, I was standing in the back and will absolutely need to experience them up close given the chance. The crowd went wild! And they come from India, I would never have expected this kind of sound to come from the land of Bollywood. They took the known death metal ingredients and made something absolutely unique with them. They also seem to be Cryptopsy fans, so that makes them even more likeable! Their first two albums run just about half an hour each, but are packed with material with lots of memorable moments, have a very nice flow to them and are impossible to digest in one day, they will need several repeated listens. I tend to hit repeat on the second album right now and I kind of suspect that it might become one of my all time favorites.
Well, not only that, but in my opinion they also had the best merch selection and designs available. Very very happy to have gotten each of them. Like this one, it's brutally cute, isn't it? Full of small but hilarious details, even the clouds are dead and the butterfly is an asshole! Looks very much like a MLP parody, I'm really tempted to wear it to my riding club, but there are lots of younger children, too, so I better not.
In grind we trust, indeed!

Thank you very much!
I am seriously getting addicted to the second album right now, currently it's a clear 10/10. I just hope its power won't wear off longterm.
