I wish I caught that. I was 14 at the time and these guys never came to Ireland unfortunately

chainsawrentalshop's picture

Keep my fingers crossed that you'll have the chance to see them one day!

Oh I've caught him twice since then dude, once in his home state of New Jersey and the other at Hellfest. :) The latter was excellent \m/

Ah, ok.
Thought you never seen them.
But you meant the time;-)

I see you were at megadeths countdown tour in 92. Pantera were supporting with vulgar display if I recall correctly. Fuck8n missed that too :(

chainsawrentalshop's picture

Pantera didn't play @ Hannover:-(
Don't remember if they canceled the complete tour or supported only for a few gigs.

Don't take this the wrong way Sean but yer a bastard haha man I remember that time, vulgar just Shook the shit out of everyone and megadeth were my band at that age. Hope I'm not being too dramatic when I say missing that gig has left me irrevocably scarred

Ya was a great time for gigs in dublin, only RATM in the Tivoli in 93 matched the power of Pantera that night , couldnt hear a thing for a week after it . Think it was only £12.50 at the time

12.50 punt tho man :D It was a great time for metal all round I fairness. The best albums were early nineties in my opinion

chainsawrentalshop's picture

On the ticket they were named as support.
This was one chance to see them and the other was with Slayer 2001.
There they didn't play as well:-(
