How do you tell if something is a modern gildan print?

Looking at the collar, the part where the rest of the ripped tag remains, along with the bottom stitching being very low to the bottom and being shiny. Shiny means polyester stitching. (Apart from the obvious detail that the shirt is double stitched) Also the sleeve cuffs are the exact same as on a Gildan Longsleeve.

Agreed, also size of the collar is thinner on newer t-shirts, also the shape of the shoulders is more round on new ones

Reply to MoonNFFS: Stitching and cuffs/collar are the biggest giveaways apart from the tag. The stiching line that goes from the shoulders over to the collar is easily identifiable as a Gildan in this case. Also black Gildan shirts are never fully black, it's that weird type of very dark blue. Always gotta triple check before buying seemingly vintage shirts. Wayyy too many reprints and bootlegs nowadays

This LS with the negative artwork suddenly appeared on Ebay 2-3 years ago, before that you never saw it like this. This is definitely a newer bootleg.

Did the seller claim that it was from 1994? Because all of the things others pointed out about the shirt are accurate and tell-tale signs of a modern print.

Yeah seller said it was from 94 but as I said I kinda figured it was a bootleg once he told me he only wanted 75. An og went for over 200 a couple months ago
