Toxik Record Shop Buys
On a trip to the coast today, and stepped into a tiny little record store, expecting, if I was lucky, an AC/DC album that I fancied. Lo and behold...
Two thrash classics, one of which (Toxik) I'm preeetty sure is a 1st press. For a tenner each. Well pleased. They're a little worn, sleeve wise witht he odd crease or whatever, but the actual wax is pretty good nick.
I'm no expert on vinyl at all, so if somebody out there can tell whether one or both of these are original presses, that would be really very much appreciated.

The fact that you found these in a record store is baffling to me, the most obscure record I've seen in a record store near me is Saxon, Denim and Leather.

To be fair, the store is about 250 miles from where I live, so it being 'near me' is probably a bit of a stretch :p
Seriously though, tiniest little shop on a high street, had to stick my head in at least. They're metal section was freakishly good. Had to skip out on Deathwish - Demon Preacher, and a couple of really nice Maiden singles (No idea how old they were, but they definitely weren't the ones that just got re-released).
Also, they had a 1st press of Deep Purple - In Rock that pretty much crushed me to turn away from. It was just too damaged for me to justify it. Still a little gutted about that, tbh.

Great records!! Pretty sure both of these were only pressed once, but if you want to check, compare the catalog numbers and matrix/runout with info on discogs.

Also, the fact that the toxic sleeve says roadracer and not roadrunner is a pretty good indicator that its a first press, great finds!!
