Many thanks my friend. Yes, I remember you having the poster and us talking about the compilation. One of my favorites in my collection. Hey, did you hear that Prophecy Prod. is putting out two Vàli albums on vinyl (as well as CD)? It's the re-issue of Forlatt on vinyl for the first time, as well as a brand new album of theirs. I sold a few shirts I wasn't really using anymore just to pre-order them! Haha.
Thanks man! The original Under the Sign of Hell is my favorite album of all time, so that says a lot. It's such a bestial and powerful album. A timeless classic for me. I love how it sounds like a jam session instead of a studio recording, haha. I mean, you can hear Grim put his drum sticks down on the floor tom!
Oh yes I heard about them. Prophecy has been putting out very interesting releases lately. I'm also interested in the upcoming Nhor album as I absolutely adore their song on the "Whom the Moon..." compilation!
Right, I liked the song they chose to feature as well. Unfortunately, I haven't dug deep into that band yet, but I'm going to have to eventually. There's too many things to buy out there that it makes it hard to keep up. I can't afford it all :(
Prophecy support a ton of great artists though. I thought that the prices for new vinyl were a little high, but they made up for it surprisingly with the shipping prices. I was glad that they were low, and it was cool since I'm overseas. Just 5.99 Euros for two records!
Haha, yeah man, once I saw that I had to scramble and do whatever it took to buy them. But take a look at this, I JUST saw this... and it's PAINFUL to not be able to afford this... FUUUUCK!!
My god man, it feels like I've been kicked in the testicles :/
This is a low blow at the moment, haha. I tell ya' every time you think you're done buying records for a small tiny amount of time, BAM! No break at all. I've got no moves left, all I have to sell is one more shirt and I obviously can't sell it for $200.00 I'm totally screwed on this one for a while. Mmhm... I have to come up with a game plan somehow.
The 160-page book sounds fucking awesome, as I love (also) the visual art Tyko Saarikko does. That's why I'm drooling over the artbook version of Saivo too.
To continue our discussion about Prophecy bands: Did you get your Vàli albums? What do you think about Skoglandskap this far? Personally I think the first one is a little bit better at the moment, but we'll see what happens when I give the new album a few more spins on my turntable. But I'm very happy to see they continued on the path they started with Forlatt.
Yes, I did get the Vàli albums, I received them along with the Nhor stuff. I haven't been able to listen to the new album all that much myself, I think I've only played it twice but I thought it was absolutely brilliant. To be honest, to me it sounded just as good as Forlatt. It left me amazed for sure. The Nhor album made a huge impact on me too. I love that thing and it's artwork.
I haven't been able to play my vinyl in a while because I need a new stylus needle, and I don't want to damage the records any further. I should be able to buy one soon though.

Yes I've thought about buying that boxset for quite some time now. But I own all Tenhi albums on CD... I still might get it some day.
