Monstrosity arnt bad..but no idea why it never catched me.. I bought the first one because of the Seagrave Cover..haha..didnt know the band. But it came out in a time, as every 'good' DM Band were using a Dan Seagrave cover..i guess..u can remember this big wave of DM bands..back in days :)
gloriousdeath
yeah, i can remember that time very well... DM was the next big thing and everyone was into Obituary and co. .... at that time i was listening a lot to BM, so that set me apart from the pack... but that second-wave turned mediocre as fast as the dm thing....

and i was in the middle of all that :D ..and i was rly disapointed as this BM comes bigger and bigger.
Back in days, at this big wave - it was a sure thing: Cover-blasphemic, Band-Logo: not readable, Tracks: blasphemy, gore, violence. I was buying stuff blind!! :D 99% of time i got what i want..but then...it came from behind...silent..and slowly..and i bought 'blind': Emperor, Immortal, Ancient and some others...argh...what a waste of money.
..ok..now the shit is expensive and every1 is asking where i got 'that'...but hell...i thought i buy Death Metal :P

well Imperial Doom is one of my top US death metal albums, and I can't help but raise my fist and yell along everytime I hear "Horror Infinity", a monster track!! I used to listen only to this album in my car for over six months including many long distance trips..
gloriousdeath
ah, i guess you must know every single note on this album hahaha...... def. a classic.....
nadsokor on
yes man haha.. and the cassette version has a slightly different tracklist and better mid-range sound. Makes me feel that I'm driving a fucking tank all the time.
gloriousdeath
.... and that's how Carmageddon was invented haha
nadsokor on
haha.. you bet... a good metal album surely can be a big help to keep the adrenaline flowing while driving long distance.... also those cold pitch black nights on statewide freeways with Crossing the Fiery Path or Worship Him in the background... undescribable experiences!
