3 hours?! And I really don't mind the 60 minutes I have to go every week (but then again, I'm Catholic, not Jehova's). That sucks dude. My dad used to be Jewish and he said he remembers sometimes when he was really young they'd be at temple for 8 hours!!! And his family wasn't even that religious. It was just because if you were Jewish back then, that's something you did. And if you went to the bathroom, you had to wait so many hours before the ceremony ended before you could see your family again.

Honestly, I don't care for these guys too much but they're managed by Chris Black who I'm friends with so that's cool. My dad told Chris that they were Marilyn Manson ripoffs for using a podium during their show and Chris was so pissed nu the had to keep it inside of him XD

Lol well my dad doesn't know much black metal in the first place, he's mainly into the traditional/classic stuff (which is the best imo). I'm starting to get him into the first wave (Venom, Mercyful Fate/King Diamond, Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, Bathory) and the Bergtatt EP by Ulver (my favorite black metal "record"). However, he took it upon himself to discover Cradle of Filth (who I really dislike) and he can't seem to understand why I don't enjoy them. I don't know to be honest, they were just never my thing hahaha.

Haha well with all the shows my dad and I go to now, he's reliving his youth from back in the 70s so my mom says we're both on the same level. So far we've seen Rush twice (his all time favorite band), Sabbath, Van Halen, Dennis DeYoung from Styx, etc. You could see all the bands I've seen on my bio on here haha. We're going to see Yes in July who he hasn't seen since 1979/80 so we're both excited for that.

Yeah it's at a little Polish theater turned classic rock venue less then 5 minutes from our house and Yes is going to be playing Fragile and Close to the Edge in their entirety so I'm psyched!!!
