Carcass - "The Complete Pathologist's Report" boxset

The boxsets on here inspired me to upload one of my favorite sets, the 11(!) disc Carcass - "The Complete Patholigist's Report". Earache started reissuing the Carcass catalog in 2007, apparently to promote the short lived reunion. Once you had purchased all of the releases, you could send an email to Earache with the subject line "I Bought All 5", and they would send you the box to hold them in for free.

Each reissue comes with the album, along with a DVD. Each DVD contains approximately 40 minutes of a documentary on the history of Carcass. When you watch all 5 DVDs together, it makes for almost 2.5 hours of Carcass history; Interviews with the band, live clips, promo vids, etc. It's a pretty awesome way to collect the full Carcass catalog. With this, I was able to pass my individual Carcass CDs down to my stepson, who is learning about the more extreme metal right now.

A couple of extra bonuses are also included. Aside from the massively expanded artwork on each release, "Necroticism - Descanting the Insalubrious" comes with 4 "death scene" cards. "Heartwork" is packaged with a third disc of the "Pre-Heartwork Parr Street Demos".

I don't think I have ever seen anyone else with this entire box set put together, and I don't even know how many of these full sets Earache put out. I do know that it makes for a VERY welcome addition to my CD rack!
