Vintage Megadeth patch dating back to the time of the debut album and making use of a very cool design that is light on colour but heavy on intensity. One of many great shield or pendant shaped patches that requires you to find just the right spot on a denim. The information is a little limited on this patch, but it is one of those 80s pieces that was found in stores around the time of release and circulated among bangers of the day. It's almost a little odd to have a Vic-less Megadeth patch, but that's part of its charm. Thank you to Southern Rocker for the great trade, this is a cool one to cherish!

Really interesting, never seen this before either!
Do you have some info who made/issued this patch and in which context?

Hey man...all I know is the guy who sold it to me is from Huntington Beach, and he said he bought it in a music shop there when the record came out...no other info, no other markings on it...I'd say it's some kind of album release event/party promo item.

That's some interesting history, thanks for sharing!
I'll keep it in mind, if I ever see a second copy I'll ask the owner about it & maybe we'll get a full picture!
So many pieces with unknown history floating around, I'm always on the hunt to secure some information before it gets lost to time haha!
