They threw this in with my order of BaN's Fathers of an icy Age and I haven't even listened to the majority of the bands on this V/A comp. Well, time for me to check it out! As soon as I get a turntable, I'm gonna put that sticker on it.
I'll have to check this comp out, I had a couple copies of the last comp they did, don't know where they are anymore....not too big a fan of most of HHR stuff though, they've got a few good bands but I find myself kinda bored with the majority of their roster...i keep checking their site every now & then though and i like their mailorder service too, good prices and shipping times, they usually throw in some free shit too
Their roster could be a little better (Witch Cross is awesome however. Fit for Fight is a 30 year old classic of Danish Heavy Metal. I haven't gotten around to listening to their HHR debut though). I agree with you on the quality of their mail-order. They ship pretty quickly and the prices seem pretty reasonable. That copy of BaN's Fathers of the icy Age I posted not that long ago couldn't have been more than $25.
Yeah, like I already stated, it's ultimately disposable stuff and it's not something I'd hold on to for the rest of my days, even though it is fun. That sticker in the last photo on the other hand is something I slapped onto the top of one of my speakers. Hells Headbangers is a very reliable label and I love that nod to Sabbath Bloody Sabbath in the artwork.

I haven't seen or heard it so I can't draw a comparison.

The Witch Cross, Shitfucker and Sacrocurse songs are great.
DeathRipper on
It's a pretty good comp. Really like the Shitfucker song.

I'll have to listen to it on my 360 later.

That IS a sick song.

One of their best compilations put out. Got this with one of my Sabbat CDs, including a free sticker.

That old Witch Cross song is the best. By the way, which Sabbat? Japanese or English?
nwobhmbanger on
Japanese.
Joel on
Both are awesome.

I don't dislike the British one, but they quickly escape my mind. I also dig Gezol's other band, Metalucifer.
Joel on
Ah, Metalucifer. The mighty Heavy Metal Samurais. Good, fun band.

Sick artwork!!

Haha, thanks man! I threw this compilation away a long time ago, but it was fun while it lasted. I love those Witch Cross and Shitfucker songs.
