Taiwanese Thrash metal band Masquerader came to Hong Kong late last year for a show, definitely a top quality band, their sound is a mix between Slayer and Fueled by Fire, we had 4 local metal bands supporting them.

Its a good mix of raw bees wax and paraffin on the patches but the bag itself is just natural!

how's the hong kong scene like?

Well as of 2012 it's growing slowly but surely, we have a newly formed "Metal Alliance" who's dedicated to hosting more local live shows a year. We were able to get a few bands to HK last year and there's a lot more communication between metalheads and a lot more going on now.

Death metal, Black metal and Thrash metal are most popular with the metalheads here, not so much Progressive or Power metal. The "majority" of the metal bands here play either Death or Black metal, I can link you up to some if you want.
