Disincarnate Collection

My current collection of one of my favorite albums of all time! I've been obsessed with "Dreams of the Carrion Kind" since finding the cassette used at a record shop in Portland, OR back in 2006. I'd never heard of it and was intrigued by the strange cover art - trusting in the Roadrunner 1993 stamp on the back, I bought it without reading any of the liner notes and was thrilled to see James Murphy in the lineup when I got home, as I was already a huge fan of "Spiritual Healing", "Cause of Death" and "Death Shall Rise". Little did I know the music on this tape was a perfect amalgamation of all those styles and more, combining nearly everything I loved about 90s Death Metal all beautifully streamlined into a masterful display of melody and brutality, with riffing both twisting as well as catchy. At the time this album had nowhere near the praise it does these days, and I was even made fun of a few times for trying to play it at parties by older, more "true" heads who thought it was trendy and "too pro", which honestly made me love it even more! I have been outbid on Disincarnate shirts more than any other item since I began eBaying in 2000, and since I have just finally obtained one in good condition, my excitement compelled me to put everything together for other TSS fiends. Below you will find: Original Blue Grape / Direct Merchandising short sleeve and sleeveless shirts; a modern bootleg of the '93 tour shirt; an original Roadrunner Records promotional poster and an original glossy promo photo; and first pressing CD, cassette and both LP versions (Netherlands and Brazil pressings).

The '93 tour longsleeve is my highest want on TSS, so if anybody out there is feeling generous... ;) until then, enjoy the loot!
