For Funerals to Come (EP) and Brave Murder Day by Katatonia. For Funerals to Come feels strangely familiar to me, like I’ve seen that place in dreams a long time ago, so it has an uncomfortable nostalgia. With Brave Murder Day, I’ve always been drawn to that “bleeding white” kind of imagery as I just connect more with something pure being damaged than darker or more aggressive visuals ( even though I like them as well). I think that such visuals show some kind of agression and outrageous rawness beneath fragility + introspection which makes everything more intense.
