I guess I’m the right person to answer, considering you used my vest for reference hahaha. I bought a chain at Michael’s (craft store) and just sewed it on, going over the links attached to the vest a good hundred times each to make sure they stayed attached
I always thought these rivets would work quite nicely for attaching a chain to a vest. I would expect you could find them somewhere on Ebay if you were to look for them.
I sewed split rings rings at the points where I wanted the chain to go and added lobster clasps to both ends of my chain. Now I have a chain I can remove and attach depending on what I feel like.
