Got the right start. Looking forward to seeing the progress. What is the plan for the back?

Uhmm.. for the back I orded a Kill em All backpatch. I know its pretty standard, but I really like the album (and the artwork). So I think Im gonna wear that one a while, and when I run into a cool Dark Angel or Nuclear Assault backpatch I'll replace the Kill em All patch. And besides the backpatch I'm going to put all sorts of smaller patches on the back.. Thats the plan!

Haha thanks to you too! Im planning to buy a: Anthrax, Warbringer, Testament, Dark Angel and a Judas Priest patch soon! Do you have any plan about which patches you will buy next?

DesolationJe's picture

Ive got quite a few that i havent managed to sew on yet and i still have some ordered. Still got to sew on my Overkill, Annihilator and Metallica patches and I have Tankard, Iron Maiden, Kreator, Warbringer, Violator, Napalm Death, Terrorizer, Nasum and Finntroll to go. Looking forward to seeing what it's like after I've managed to get off my arse and sew them in haha!

Ah those are awesome bandnames, really like Overkill and Annihilator and Kreator too

haha yeah, Im excited as well how mine vest will look when my new patches are on it ! Ofcourse I'd love to see your vest with your new patches when you sew them in haha!

alla2465's picture

Can you explain how you sewed the patches on? I haven't figured out to sew it on like that, the method i use is bad really. How exacly do you sew them on?

Well, these are not sewed. They are glued! You can buy a special kind of glue to stick them on your vest. The reason is that I'm quite clumsy so working with a needle just wont work for me.

Blüdrayne's picture

glue tends to come loose eventually. inevitably, i'd say. learn to sew.

better than stapling though :p

Well, it seems to hold pretty good. But ofcourse sewing is better. If I have the time i'll learn it.
