Sweet shirt! What would you recommend from Striborg? I remember hearing them once or twice, but I thought they were kind of boring. I see a lot of people praising their music though and I'm kind of intrigued by their album art etc. So... what would be an album to start from, if I want to hear some really good stuff?

Thanks mate, It's not their music, It's his music Sin Nanna aka Russell is a one man band.

As for recommendations, Southwest Passage, The Forebodding Silence, and Spiritual Deprivation are right up there for me.

But also it depends on your taste because different albums have different styles of him playing, genre wise.

Originally I'm from the state he's from Tasmania, So to me I feel different when I listen to him compared to other Black Metal / Atmospheric Black Metal / Dark Ambient.

I used to know Russell ( aka Sin Nanna ) he's is a killer drummer.. used to be in local bands Krucifior and MSI,,,, from my home town Hobart.

Hi mate, no I left in 2004 moved to the Gold coast.. I'm good mates with Tim and Rick who are in Gape ex MSI, played in a band with them years ago too... when I was in my teens I knew Russ through Krucifior / Baalphegor, I loved BM in the day and we talked about BM when we saw each other, You're not far from Intense Hammer Rage territory hahaha !

Ahk, I moved to Melbourne in 2006 and went back to Tassie in 2008 then came back to Melbourne in 2009! Tassie is fucked....

Oh wow that's fucking cool!!! Their was some sick bands from Tassie back in the day, Some new ones are starting to get out there which is good, I really like Lightless from Kingston.

I'll give I.H.R a listen! Burnie is pretty shit though haha.
