The main issue here is that buying official merchandise from other countries from Mexico is just too expensive considering our currency, it only makes sense if you are financially well off. So these bootlegs from any type of band are really popular here

Yes I see - sorry if my comment came off as rude, unintentional. I understand your point. I was recently at a record store in Central America and was discussing with the owner just how expensive it is to import everything. They had an incredible; albeit expensive collection - and lots of really killer bootleg shirts.

In addition to what Rottedhead said, Mex bootlegs are usually really good screen prints on heavy cotton shirts. More than once mexican bootleg merch has been better quality than official merch I’ve bought.

Agreed with you there! My favorite Poison(Germany) shirt is a Mexican bootleg and it’s one of the highest quality shirts I own!
