My beloved trenchcoat, had this for about 11 years now, the patch only recently, on the back a friend screen printed a picture of a tree with a someone hanging from it in black, so its a nice black on black print, on the arm is a carpathian forest patch.
I'll eventually put most of my patches on this trenchcoat, no good for gigs tho as it gets too hot! great for festivals and general drinking, some people reckon the red carpathian forest patch makes it look a bit like an SS Nazi jacket but i dont think so, my dark throne black and yellow patch will look great on this one.
I think the jacket is a french marine or artillery jacket
I used to have a nice leather trenchcoat that I studded up and painted the sigil of Baphomet on the back of. Unfortunately I grew too large for it and so I cut it up and salvaged the spikes for my current biker jacket.
Trenchcoats are good in the rain but if its a bit hot they can be annoying.
I look forwards to seeing the future additions to it.
Nice one! I patched up my grandfathers army jacket (he left to me when he died). I need to take off the cannibal corpse and dimmu patches though. And although carpathian forest has never had anything to do with nsbm, this may surprise you;
(off of "Through Chasm, Caves and Titan Woods," the song "the pale mist hovers towards the nightly shore;"
"Acknowledge the supreme Northern purity
That runs in the blood of my veins
As the nocturnal curtain falls
With the total eclipse of the moon above"...
Dont feel guilty. I still fucking love that song. Cf arent a nazi band and they dont support nazi ideals. You dont know what it really means or why nattefrost wrote those lyrics, so enjoy it.
I noticed there's an artillery pin on the epaulettes. cool. I was a mortar gunner myself, so if i ever add any military symbol to my jacket it'd be the crossed cannons.

IMHO it will look better if you don't stuff this coat with patches, just a couple of them and maybe a backpatch
but it looks good like this too
