I donβt remember anything from the setlist but this was probably the show where some guy standing not too far away from us in the crowd was ripping one disgusting fart after the other. Never figured out who it was exactly but damn, he reeked of putrefaction.

π€π€£π€ This is probably the only thing I didn't miss about gigs during Covid times....those nasty smelly beer/fried food farts π€’ Every concert there is at least one such incident....π΅

Congratulations on finding this killer shirt! Itβs such a great feeling to find that ever elusive hidden gem. I also saw them for the first time in August of that year with Black Sabbath. It was at the the Ozzfest, one day before the famous Sharon Osbourne and Bruce Dickinson dispute where she and some others pelted the band with eggs.

Thank you mate! It took me 17 years to find someone willing to sell this stellar shirt. It is indeed a great feeling, and like a little kid I was constantly checking the tracking updates π I felt just as ecstatic as when I got my hands on the Somewhere Back in Time - Assen Event shirt (https://tshirtslayer.com/tshirt-or-longsleeve/iron-maiden-somewhere-back...) which took me 12.5 years to find π€― Like that shirt, this long-sleeve was definitely worth the wait.
Cool that you also saw Maiden for the first time on this spectacular tour. I assume you enjoyed it a lot π€ππ€ The band was on fire that tour!
Luckily you were not at the infamous 'Ozzfest incident show' π€£π€£ I understood the sound was also cut off at several moment during their performance. At least Maiden continued like true warriors, not caring about the damn eggs.

Love this shirt! It was the first tour I saw Maiden on too, at Reading Festival. Wish I couldβve gotten this shirt there - I donβt remember seeing it at the merch stand!

I also don't remember seeing this shirt at the merch stand, but being poor as a rat (I was a student at the time), I also didn't tempt myself by looking too long at merch π I understood from some other fans that this shirt sold out quickly during the early dates of the tour. There are not a lot of these around. Are you hunting for it?

Makes sense it sold out early on - itβs awesome! Iβll keep an eye out for one, but Iβve never seen one come up on eBay or anywhere else. Impressed you found one! π

I guess I was lucky I found a guy who was willing to sell it. I made a post in the Iron Maiden collectors facebook groups, and this dude contacted me π

Thanks mate! I really like it that they used the Live at the Rainbow artwork. Not so famous as the album artworks, but definitely on par with some of the best π€ππ€
