Iron Maiden Australia 2008

Just wanted to demonstrate how much thought Maiden's T-shirt artist puts into his designs.
First pic is the original Derek Riggs artwork for the Oz 82 shirt - ended up being thought 'too gruesome' to use (considering kangaroos our one of our national emblems) and so the event shirt became the Unleash the Beast shirt I listed previously.
Second pic is Derek's original California 82 shirt artwork.
Fast forward to 2008 - times have changed, now slaughtering kangaroos is totally fine lol!
Note the back print. Herve has taken the original 82 Oz Eddie head and mashed it with the 82 Cali artwork. Not content with that, he's added a true-blue Aussie singlet top to Eddie, given him a stubby of VB beer and a blue heeler dog. Dinky-fukn di, my friends.
The effort for ONE shirt is completely FUKN MENTAL!!

Yeah i was about to point out that you can get kangaroo steaks at cole's.
And this is why maiden's so collectable.
