I bought this shirt on January 16, 2000 at Phantasmagoria in Wheaton, MD (full show is available on youtube). I'm pretty sure this was HOF's first US tour. The "12th Records" 3-song CD was the only release available at this point. It seemed there were only about 30 people at this show. In the video, there's a pan through the audience at 26:26 where you can see Jason Simon and I from Dead Meadow. Sleep was a big influence on Dead Meadow and this was our first chance to see Matt Pike or anyone from Sleep live as Om didn't get going until a few years later.
Matt Pike had a bad, swollen shut black eye at this show- always wondered what the deal was with that.
This is rad, what a great experience to have been at this show. You're in Dead Meadow? That's awesome. I won't fanboy out, dude. But I'm pretty into your band.
