1987 Original HÖH/ Current 93 “Crowleymass” Shirt.
Crazy rare shirt! Made back in 1987 to promote the Crowleymass Album. Includes the works of Current 93 and Icelandic musician/ composer Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson. After some research it seems that these shirts were sold at the Smekkleysa record shop (Icelandic label created in ‘86 by members of The Sugarcubes) in Iceland back in ‘87 and some being sold directly from David Tibet himself.
Got this after winning an auction on the Smekkleysa website, as they were auctioning off some other original The Sugarcubes shirts, and this shirt as well after having them in storage for all these years. Brand new from ‘87!
One of my favorite shirts in my collection at the moment!
Pictured is my cd copy of the album as well as another Current 93/ HÖH album “Island” which was recorded from 1986-1991 and released in 1991 that features Björk and members of The Sugarcubes, Rose Mcdowall, and many other Icelandic musicians.
