Danzig Legacy Tour Shirt 2011
Wow.. Well I am a fan of Danzig/Misfits.. He- Danzig legacy (with members of Samhain & Misfits playing too)was the friday night metal headliner for Fun Fun Fun fest in Austin, Texas 2011 (Public Ememy was playing on the far main stage). It was a cold November night in Texas (high 50's) He was 45 mins late to go on, complained about being cold- even though the stage had heaters etc.. There is a strict 10 pm curfew for all bands. I dont remember how long he played, but when the power was cut off, he suggested "we" riot to protest the show ending.. just google the story if you want to read all about it. The crowd was pissed off at him.. The show was ok despite all of that..

Haha well, while Danzig has made some nice music he seems too be a big asshole in person. But after reading some articles about this i just have to say: "Wow, what a crybaby"

Nobody can take away the legacy of the Misfits and Samhain...classic stuff. But Danzig himself seems to be a tool on all counts. I know several people whove met him and none have good stories to tell. He struts around like hes some kind of dark Elvis. Its a shame, really, because I love the old music.

*Also* At the Danzig/Possessed/Marduk/Toxic Holocaust back on Halloween 2010, We were forbidden to bring in cameras/take pics (b/c diva Danzig) I saw him get security after a few guys taking pics with thier camera phones..

he's always been a pain in the ass about that. he only works with certain photographers. even press photographers had to bring a portfolio for him to look at, if they wanted to take pics at shows. but Steve Harris is similar, in regards of photos.
