Yeah me too. A lot of the Blaze songs are good but they dont get the recognition they deserve.

I always found this to be true and had quite a bit of "arguments" over that. Of course there highly annoying songs like Angel and the gambler (that chorus has to be the mist nervewrecking in all Metal history) but Pieces like the Clansman, Futureal , Man on the edge and many others are just classic Maiden stuff. No need to complain here.

Fun fact: When i was maybe 11, not knowing anything about Metal yet, borrowing my first Metal cds from the local library (long before buying this was my No 1 source to discover Maiden, Megadeth , Helloween, ...) i also got Fear of the Dark and the X factor. And i actually didn't hear it was a different singer. Up to this day in my view , when you want, you can really hear a lot of Bruce in Blaze's voice .

I have always loved, supported, defended and fought for the Blaze era !
Well to be honest it is not as strong as the Bruce stuff but still Steve sticked to his guns in the 90`s and kept Maiden going.
Love him to death for that.
Also a huge fan of Blazes " solo " stuff.
